Marilyn Stebbins, PharmD
University of California, San Francisco

Marilyn Stebbins is Vice Chair of Clinical Innovation at UCSF and is on the faculty at UCSF’s School of Pharmacy. She is also involved in clinical work that focuses on developing innovative pharmacy practice models in the physician group practice setting for underserved populations. She has taught courses about Medicare Part D, innovative practice models, health policy, managed care, and leadership development. Additionally, she serves on CHBRP’s medical effectiveness team.

Her research has primarily focused on Medicare Part D and she received, along with Co-Principal Investigator Dr. Helene Levens Lipton, a grant from the Amgen Foundation to collaborate with all seven pharmacy schools in California with the goal of utilizing doctor of pharmacy students’ expertise in Medicare Part D to assist Medicare-eligible individuals throughout California with enrolling in plans specific to their needs and financial budgets. 

She received her PharmD from UCSF and her BA in Biochemistry/Cell Biology from UCSD.
